بہت رنگ بدلے سِپہرِ بریں نے
Great change the lofty spheres have met,
خدایا یہ دُنیا جہاں تھی، وہیں ہے
O God! the world has not budged as yet.
تفاوُت نہ دیکھا زن و شو میں مَیں نے
In man and wife is no contrast,
وہ خَلوت نشیں ہے، یہ خَلوت نشیں ہے
They like seclusion and hold it fast.
ابھی تک ہے پردے میں اولادِ آدم
The sons of Adam still wear the mask,
کسی کی خودی آشکارا نہیں ہے
But self hasn’t peeped out of the casque.پردہ
